Shekhawati Reverse Glass Paintings (set of 3)
These paintings were rescued from a Haveli in Rajasthan that was being destroyed. They are Reverse Glass Paintings made in the Shekhawati School of Reverse Glass Painting. This style of painting is focused on the details and using that to create.
These paintings are very rare and one of them is a depiction of the Mastani Begum. She is dressed in white clothing, which is contrasted by her dark hair. She is adorned with gold jewellery encrusted with gems and in her hands, she holds a red flower. Traditionally she is depicted with a red Indian Robin.
