Circa curates the pieces and artefacts it exhibits on its website which makes them unique and one of a kind. Many of these articles, because of their vintage nature and the material from which they are made, are heavy and / or fragile we ensure that careful consideration is taken while packaging them - whether directly by us or by our channel partners - to ensure that they reach you in the condition in which you viewed them on our website.

Due to GoI restrictions on the sale of antique handicrafts and artefacts, some items can only be shipped within India. The cost of shipping is not a homogenous one not only because of the weight & fragility of the item but it is also based on the address it is being shipped to. The shipping cost shall therefore be shared and agreed upon with the clients before the closure of the sale.

Upon finalization, our dispatch team shall get in touch with you to organize the shipping. Circa endeavours to provide a tentative date of delivery and any specific instructions you may have regarding the shipping should be shared with our team at this stage and before the payment is effectuated. Dispatch is programmed for 5 - 7 days post receipt of the payment and delays if any are entirely due to additional requests, customization and / or specific instructions from the purchaser. The same shall always be communicated to the client and delays, if any are, are notified via the preferred mode of communication chosen.

How the Purchase Process Works

Because of the nature of the merchandise on sale, the purchase process is a little varied. Some items may be available for immediate purchase while for others the purchaser shall be asked to raise an inquiry. Upon receiving the inquiry a member from the Circa team shall get in touch, usually within 2 working days, to complete the transaction. This delay is attributable to the fact that while we try our best to update our site frequently, sometimes some items may continue to be shown as “available" even though they’ve been sold. This delay sought is to check the items’ ready availability. We take this time to arrive at the precise shipping costs (if additional) along with the estimated time required for the delivery basis the address provided. Once all the details have been finalized and the quotation accepted, Circa shall send you a payment link to complete the transaction.

Circa has tied up with secure payment gateways to ensure a smooth & hassle-free process. These payments are completely secure and the options available to make the payments are credit card (Indian or international), net banking or pay wallet.

Our Return Policy
The lengthy purchase process is to ensure that the clients are completely sure of the item (s) being purchased and are satisfied with the buy. The website pictures are true to life and our team shall share videos too of the product(s) if asked for. Most of our merchandise is uncommon and / or exclusive, and their delivery is a complex process which is why Circa does not allow returns. Should the product be received in a marred condition, Circa shall work with the client to arrive at a solution that could entail restoration, repair, exchange or in the rarest of cases a return.


Purchases made at the Store:

  1. All transactions are subject to Goa jurisdiction. 
  2. Refunds or exchanges will not be entertained once the goods are sold.
  3. Transport, Insurance, and Packaging will be on actuals. 
  4. Our risk is limited till the departure of the goods from the store/warehouse.
  5. Payment should be made by cash, bank transfer, credit/debit cards, or demand draft.
  6. Goods will only be handed over / packed and dispatched after receipt of 100% payment of the invoice amount and the transport, insurance, and packaging cost if any.
  7. Please inspect all goods while in the store. No complaints regarding the quality of goods sold shall be entertained once the goods are packed and dispatched.
  8. GST and other taxes or duties leviable at the time of sales, shall be borne by the customer.
  9. Cash transactions are not permissible above INR 1,99,999/- under IT Act 269ST.
  10. Any transactions above INR 1,99,999/- under IT act 269ST require the customer’s PAN card details.

Circa Gift Cards:

  1. This gift card is valid for a period of two years from the date of purchase.
  2. This card is redeemable at the Circa store or website with the unique code on the back of the card.
  3. It cannot be redeemed for packing, shipping, transport or any other logistic expense.
  4. It is valid for a single transaction and must be redeemed in full.
  5. This gift card is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash in part or full.
